Słowiński National Park is a unique place where you can immerse yourself in nature, listen to the soothing sound of sea waves and the calls of seagulls, while enjoying outdoor activities.
Słowiński National Park is one of only two national parks in Poland located along the coast. It was established to protect the precious natural environment of coastal lakes, wetlands, peat bogs, meadows, and maritime pine forests. The park’s greatest treasure and most iconic feature are its moving sand dunes – a unique, desert-like landscape unlike anywhere else in Europe.
Recognized for its ecological importance, the park is part of HELCOM BSPA, the UNESCO MAB Biosphere Reserve, the Ramsar Wetlands, and the Natura 2000 network.

There are 7 nature trails highlighting the region’s ecology, culture, and birdlife:

Cycling Trails in the Park
Cyclists can enjoy routes like the one from Rąbka to the Rocket Launch Museum, around Lake Gardno, and from Rowy to Czołpino. All hiking trails are open to cyclists, though some parts may be sandy or seasonally muddy.
Kayak Routes in the Park
Two navigable rivers cross the park: the Łupawa and the Łeba.
The Łupawa route is about 16 km long (7.5 km through the park). Open all year and doesn’t require permits.
The Łeba route is 11 km total (3.5 km in the park) – ideal for beginners. Calm current, great for families.
⚠️ Note: Entering Lake Gardno or Lake Łebsko by kayak is not allowed.

Can I bring my dog to the park?
Dogs are not allowed on most trails due to strict environmental protection, except in designated areas outlined in the protection plan. Exceptions apply to guide dogs and sheepdogs on approved grazing lands.
